Day 3 of 5 days of fresh- Part 1.
So, that chicken broth was so good I decided to do some veggie too for another recipe. I still had some carrots, 1/2 an onion and garlic so that’s what I used!
- 3 or 4 carrots, washed
- 1/2 onion
- 1 bulb of garlic with the top cut off
- a couple good shakes of thyme
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 tbsp whole peppercorn
- 6-8 c of water
Put it all in the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours! Strain and use in whatever you’re cooking that calls for broth!
